Seminer on: “Bioinformatics & Lifesciences” held on Brac University

bracu-seminer-bioinformaticsThe Department of Pharmacy, BRAC University in collaboration with Research Interface for Students of Biosciences (RISBS) organized a seminar on the topic “Bioinformatics and Life Sciences” on August 23, 2015, at the BRAC University Auditorium.
The key speakers in the seminar were Dr. Cheiw Foan Chin, Associate Professor, and Dr. Sandy Hwei-San Loh, Professor and Director of the Biotechnology Research Centre, School of Bioscience, Faculty of Science, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. Dr. Lim Yin Sze, Associate Professor, School of Biosciences, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, Dr. Shafi M. Tareq, Professor, School of Biosciences, University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus, and Dr. Tofazzal Islam, Professor, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agriculture University were also present. The Department of Pharmacy is looking forward to organizing more seminars in the future which will open new arenas for collaborative research work for creating a positive learning atmosphere for students.
Department of Pharmacy of Brac University has been dedicated to training and guiding future pharmacists to become leaders and innovators through various curricular and co-curricular activities. Pharmacy is a noble profession that deals with alleviating human suffering caused by various diseases.
