Pharmacy Graduates’ Association was established in 1969 in the then East Pakistan. After the liberation of Bangladesh in 1971, it was renamed as Pharmacy Graduates’ Association, Bangladesh or in short PGA Bangladesh.
It is a national organization of the Bangladeshi pharmacists and is the professional spokesman of the pharmacy profession. Persons having at least a B. Pharm. degree from any recognized university of home and abroad may apply for regular membership of PGA Bangladesh.
Its members are registered under the Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh. It was with the primary objectives of advancing the profession of pharmacy in Bangladesh and to uphold and protect the professional rights of the pharmacists.
