SQUARE Pharmaceuticals Ltd. arranged a day-long plant visit program for 24th batch students of the Department of Pharmacy, Jahangirnagar University in their Dhaka Plant, Kaliakoir on 23rd August 2014. It was a program of 43 participants, along with the students Prof. Dr. Sukalyan Kumar Kundu was also present.
The students got the opportunity to enrich their knowledge with the working process & latest, sophisticated technologies of a TGA & UKMHRA approved cGMP compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. They observed the manufacturing process of different Solid Dosage Forms, Biotech Products i.e. Insulins. The program offered them a chance to correlate theoretical knowledge and practical manufacturing processes.

It was established in 1958 and converted into a public limited company in 1991. The sales turnover of SPL was more than Taka 11.46 Billion (US$ 163.71 million) with about 16.43% market share (April 2009– March 2010) having a growth rate of about 16.72%.
